Dr. Hrach, in addition to teaching English courses, is the Director of the Faculty Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning. She has taught literature courses for Columbus State’s study abroad programs in Oxford and in Italy. In 2011, she was awarded the Literary Sage Award, an award for the best English department faculty member, by Sigma Tau Delta. In 2013, the University System of Georgia selected Dr. Hrach as the sole recipient of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Award, an award that recognized her commitment to raising students’ global awareness.
